Anand V. Gumaste

Chairman of the MicroDose Board
Anand has been Chief Executive of the company and Chairman of the Board since 1998. Prior to MicroDose, Dr. Gumaste founded and owned Strategic Consulting Group which specialized in developing managed care strategies for drug delivery companies. He also spent 11 years at PA Consulting Group where he rose to the position of Director of Electronics.

F. Scott Fleming
Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Since its inception, Scott has been a member of the Board of Directors and held the head Sales and Marketing position within MicroDose. He is a frequent speaker at drug delivery industry conferences. Prior to MicroDose, Scott held positions with Liberty Technologies; the Healthcare Practice at PA Consulting Group; and was 12 years at Schlumberger, ultimately becoming their North American Sales Training Manager.

David A. Byron
Vice President, Research & Development
Dave joined MicroDose in 2002 and is currently responsible for all research and development activities for MicroDose. His 30 years of experience includes various positions in major pharmaceutical companies including Sanofi-Winthrop, Bristol-Myers-Squibb, Sterling Drug, Bock Pharmacal and most recently as Executive VP of Scientific Affairs with Sheffield Pharmaceuticals.

Michael J. Martin
Vice President, Licensing and Business Development
Mike joined MicroDose in 2006. For 25 years Mike has held various business development positions in large pharmaceutical companies including Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, American Cyanamid, Warner Lambert and most recently at Odyssey Pharmaceuticals where he helped build the company’s branded specialties in respiratory and urology.

John S. Krall III, CPA
Senior Director, Finance
John has been with MicroDose since 2004 and is responsible for the company’s financial systems and controls. For over 15 years John has held finance positions in companies such as Caliper Corporation, Atos Origin and most recently as Global Finance Manager and Controller for PA Consulting Group.

Robert O. Cook, PhD
Senior Director, Product Commercialization
Rob joined the recently formed Product Commercialization function at MicroDose in 2009. Prior to MicroDose, Rob held senior level positions at MAP Pharmaceuticals including heading the Research and Development department. Rob is a UK registered Pharmacist.

Ron has been with MicroDose since 2004. Prior to joining, Ron spent 30+ years with Novartis, Ciba Pharmaceuticals and Ciba-Geigy Corporation in a variety of senior level Compliance and Quality Assurance positions.

Eugene R. Reynolds, PhD
Director, Analytical Chemistry
Gene joined MicroDose in 2006 bringing 17 years of analytical chemistry experience in pharmaceuticals. Prior to MicroDose, Gene was at Schering-Plough, where he supervised laboratory groups in analytical development for method development and testing of inhalation products.

Nancy L. Wolman
Director, Human Resources
Nancy joined MicroDose in 2000 bringing more than 25 years of administrative and HR experience. Prior to MicroDose, she was head of HR for PA Consulting Group’s US division. Nancy was also a Partner in an advertising and technology transfer consulting business, and worked at Dow Jones & Company.

Andrew L. Abrams, MD
Dr. Abrams was formerly the Medical Director for PA Consulting Group as well as a co-founder of New England Diagnostics and CMC Laser Associates. His residencies were in General Surgery at the University of Florida and Plastic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital and the University of Michigan. Prior to PA Consulting he was in private practice for sixteen years. Since leaving PA in 1994, Dr. Abrams has been involved with consulting and the development of new medical products and is one of the founders of MicroDose. Dr. Abrams has 12 issued patents in the Medical-Surgical Fields.
Herbert Abrams, CPA
Mr. Abrams worked in Public Accounting with Holmes and Davis, after which he joined a manufacturing company that ultimately became Ramer Industries, which was in the apparel, footwear, and textiles industries. Mr. Abrams’ career spanned thirty years with Ramer, during which he became Chief Executive Officer. Ramer was listed on the American Stock Exchange. Mr. Abrams then founded The Kennedy Group, an Executive Search firm specializing in Corporate Management Search which operated for the subsequent thirty years.
James F. Manning
Mr. Manning was Chairman and CEO of GevityHR (GVHR – Nasdaq), from 2001 to 2002, Vice Chairman of Staff Leasing (renamed GevityHR) for the year 1997, and was President from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, Mr. Manning was a business consultant from 1987 to 1995 to various corporations including Staff Leasing, Rolm Phone Co., Pitney Bowes, Teachers Insurance (TIAA/CREFF), and several small software companies. At the Rolm Phone Co., he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing. From 1954 to 1987, Mr. Manning worked for IBM, and was Corporate Vice-President in charge of all Business Systems from 1983 to 1987.
Ian MacN. Sidey, MBA
Mr. Sidey is a Managing Partner of Pleiad Capital Management, LLC (venture capital in the wellness sector). Mr. Sidey also serves or has served on the boards of several companies in which he and various partners have invested, and for which he has been responsible for multiple debt and equity fund raisings, acquisitions, corporate sales, and buyouts. Prior to that, he was a management consultant with Rio-Tinto Zinc, and for eight years was a Regional and Divisional Operating Manager for XM World Trade, responsible for turnarounds in three continents. Mr. Sidey received his MBA from The Wharton School.
