Merck & Co., Inc.

In 2008, MicroDose entered into a global license agreement with Merck & Co., Inc. for use of MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler (DPI) with Merck & Co., Inc.’s proprietary compounds. The first of Merck & Co., Inc.’s proprietary products is now under development in conjunction with MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler. The initiation of a Phase 1 study involving this product was announced in August 2008 and further development in support of a Phase 2 study is underway. The indication for this proprietary product has not yet been disclosed.

Novartis

In 2006, MicroDose entered into a multi-product development and licensing agreement with Novartis for use of MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler with Novartis’ proprietary respiratory products. The first of Novartis’ proprietary products is now in preclinical development in conjunction with MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler.

Undisclosed Partner 1

An evaluation program was signed and initiated in 2007 with this major pharmaceutical partner to evaluate the delivery of multiple undisclosed inhalation compounds tor the treatment of various respiratory diseases with MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler. This research program is ongoing and is in the research stage.

An evaluation program was signed with this major pharmaceutical partner in December 2008, and initiated in 2009 to evaluate the delivery of an undisclosed inhalation compound for the treatment of certain respiratory diseases with MicroDose’s dry powder inhaler. This research program is ongoing and is in the research stage.
